Redemption with Jayden: Infinidab Back At It Again… And Again
Join Jayden for a premier matchup against reigning T1-2P National Champion Josh Potratz in the Lackey Grand Prix in which they both bring strong decks to the table.
This week we’ve got Round 3 of the April/May 2022 Lackey Grand Prix against Josh Potratz. I anticipated that Josh would be playing some sort of tempo deck with Moses and/or “Golden Cross” so I knew I needed to be prepared to answer those and I ended up deciding on Infinidab as the answer with a few techy inclusions. The main one being Bethlehem to make my Jesse and Obed work through cards like Moses, Golden Calf, and Babel which have been making the rounds in the competitive scene for quite some time, but especially so lately. Josh did end up playing a tempo Moses variation with the Justin Martyr package and some plagues to back Moses up, so check out the video to see if the counters worked or if they need a little work…

Jayden started playing Redemption around 2004 when his brothers taught him to play and he attended his first National Tournament in 2005. Since then, he has become a competitive (mostly Type 2) player with a few National titles and, more importantly, has acquired many great friends and mentors through the game. However, in the years leading up to 2020, there has been a downward trend in attendance at some of the big tournaments, Nationals included. As a result, Jayden wanted to start doing something that would help pique and maintain interest in Redemption and he decided to do so in the form of a YouTube channel called Redemption with Jayden, which he started in June 2020 shortly after graduating college. He loves being able to share decks, games, and strategies, and hopes that the channel can be a useful resource for players at every level of the game.
