We’re officially two weeks away from Nationals and that means two weeks away from getting our hands on some awesome new cards from Israel’s Rebellion and also the new and improved Israel’s Deliverance K/L Starter Decks. As part of the hype, I’ve got a really fun video for y’all that gives some insight into the set design and playtesting processes and of course contains more spoilers than we’ve probably seen in total so far from the Israel’s Rebellion set. Being that this is a playtest video, do note that not all of the cards you’ll see in the video are in their final form, but most of them were pretty close. For the game in the video, I used my “PriestBreaker” playtest deck and Tyler’s deck was all about those Wilderness characters we’ve been hearing so much about… Also included in the video is a segment where Joe and Tyler, and a little bit of myself toward the end of the process, designed an entirely new card from scratch.
