Lackey Grand Prix are back with LGP #17! This means we’re in full-on Israel’s Inheritance mode where we’re testing out some new cards and of course trying to find some fun interactions with the new cards.

This week, in addition to trying out some new Israel’s Inheritance cards, I’m trying out the new Fall Seasonal Promo, Queen Tahpenes, which is undoubtedly one of the most powerful mill cards ever introduced to the game. While she may not be able to carry the mill strategy all the way to the top tables at Nationals, she probably earns herself a slot in just about any deck where she fits the brigades and there’s potential for some fun interactions that I attempt to abuse in this deck.

On the Israel’s Inheritance side of things, I’m really not playing too many of the new cards, but I bet you didn’t think you’d see Called to Prophecy played effectively in a deck with only one Prophet now did you? Cuz I’ve got that too. It’s always a risk taking janky decks into the ring against Jay, my opponent for Round 1 of this LGP, but I couldn’t help it and I can’t say I regret it, so enjoy!
