This week Jayden features a revamped version of the Postexilics build he is famous for that is calibrated for the rotation meta.
This week at Redemption with Jayden, we’re giving a facelift to my favorite theme: Postexilics. Part of what made the Classic version of this deck so good was the Classic meta where defense usually wasn’t abounding and recovery after Impartial Judgment was pretty difficult to pull off. But the Rotation meta is slightly different and people are playing with a little more defense, so I had to adjust slightly by adding a few more Impartial Judgment-type effects and sneaking in a particularly “strong” Hero with some support cards. It’s certainly not in a finished state yet, as this was the first game I played with this version, but I think it’s getting there and I’m looking forward to testing it some more. Speaking of this being the first game though, my opponent this time around is once again competitive player and Threshing Floor host, John Hendrix. John brought his “Grace Like a Flood” deck (list linked in the video description), which was great to see in action because I really hadn’t looked over the list all that closely until now. So, without further adieu, enjoy the game!

Jayden started playing Redemption around 2004 and attended his first National Tournament in 2005. Over the years, he has since become a competitive player with National titles across several categories and, more importantly, has acquired many great friends and mentors through the game. Inspired by video content creators from other games, Jayden endeavored to begin the "Redemption with Jayden" YouTube channel in June 2020 to help promote the game during a time where tournament attendance was low and many games were being played online. While the majority of his content is online gameplay, Jayden now enjoys doing live tournament streaming, box openings, deck breakdowns, and much more in hopes that the channel can be a useful resource for players at every level of the game.
