This week we’re getting half-off Chicago-style deep dish for Round 3 of Lackey Grand Prix #13. That’s right, we’re going to Green Mill. Haven’t heard of it? Clearly you gotta come spend a little more time in Minnesota… For this deck, the colors are green and strategy is mill so we’re going to be attempting to discard cards from my opponent’s deck and hopefully hit some big ones. With the retirement of evil Gold, Pale Green is taking over as mill’s main brigade with the Egyptian theme so we’re going to be testing it out alongside a Green offense that certainly has some tricks to offer the mill strategy, despite White wilderness being the primary mill offense. The friend (and opponent) I’m attempting to take to Green Mill this week is Luke Marshall, who brought a deck that’s a little bit stuck in the past but recently got some Rootsy upgrades. Enjoy!
