About Me |
Charles first started playing Redemption in 2006 (age 10) when high school teacher Tim Harmon started hosting a Redemption Club that met every Wednesday after school. After only two years of this club, Tim Harmon moved down south, and thus a three-year hiatus ensued. In Charles' freshman year of high school, a former attendee of the Redemption Club (Patrick Chaverri) enrolled in the school, bringing Charles back into the game. Charles' first (brief) appearance at a Nationals Tournament was in New York in 2013, in which he only played in Booster Draft (finishing 18th of 22). Since 2018 in Tomball, TX, Charles has attended every Nationals. With a handful of RNRS placements, including three first place finishes in 2020, the highlight of his Redemption career to this point is winning Nationals in 2020 in his favorite category: Booster Draft. As of November of 2022, Charles has joined forces with Chad Frantz as an editor on Land of Redemption, as he hopes to give back to the community that has given him so much enjoyment through this game. |
