Lackey Grand Prix 15 is the largest Lackey Grand Prix to date! These are the decklists from Week 3.

This week, it was announced that there will be a cut to top 8! A historic first for the LGP series.



Null’s Explanation of the Deck:
“This is the evolution of my The☆Mill deck I ran last week! I used this deck at CT states on Saturday and got 1st Place in Type-1 with it. I used it against Andy this week and had the most fun game I’ve ever played!


The most notable difference is that it went from 50 cards to 57, That way I can rock an Angel and a Humble lost soul.

I also teched in revolt, since yknow, evil enhancement. I removed stuff like Antipas, and the 3 enhancements that go with it, for more grindy cards, and removed my nativity turbo stuff, so the deck really slowed down into more of an NT gold grind-out deck! And it seems to work! That’s it from me! Tune in next week to see my next huge change to this deck!”


The following is Null’s recounting of the game played vs AndyF.

“The BEST redemption game I’ve ever played:

Both players draw 8, Andy goes First.

Andy Draws lost souls Hopper and Humble, Null gets Imitate and Defiled. Andy plays * Virgin Birth, taking Covenant with David, and Underdecking Virgin Birth,(Hand 8)

Null plays * The Coming Prince, looking at Overcome! He chooses to Underdeck it. (Hand 8) Hopper shifts to Null’s Land of Bondage. Null, however, cannot activate imitate as it is not his Upkeep Phase.

Turn 1.

Prep Phase. Andy plays The Tabernacle and Covenant with David as an artifact to search his deck for David, Heart After God, as he has no Kings in play.

Andy enters his Battle Phase, attacking with David, Heart After God and converting him to meek in order to search his deck for Angel of the Lord.

Null blocks with the legacy rare version of The Amalekites’ Slave, capturing it to Andy’s Land of Bondage and searching his deck for Herod Archelaus and immediately adding him to battle. Archelaus is protected from Angel of the Lord and any enhancements played on David, Heart After God while he is Alone.

It’s Andy’s initiative (9/10 – “0”/8), however Null asks for dominant initiative. Andy denies Dominant initiative, playing Three Woes as good to negate Archelaus’ Protection, and subsequently discarding him with Angel of the Lord, before Null can play his dominant.

Andy wins the battle, and Null gives him Hopper to rescue, as it does nothing to benefit him. (Andy 1 – Null 0).

Andy enters his discard phase, playing Storehouse, which protects his hand, deck, reserve, and discard pile from Null. He also plays a face-down artifact, and ends his turn with 3 cards in hand.

Turn 2

Andy’s Hand, Deck, Reserve, and Discard Pile are protected by Storehouse, and his Good Three Woes is negating nothing.

Null draws 3 cards, using no * and copies the ability of Andy’s lost soul humble with his own lost soul imitate during the Upkeep Phase.

Prep Phase. Null plays Herod’s Temple, Herod Agrippa I, and Herodias, protecting Gospel Characters from harm, and restricting Andy from accessing Reserves so long as Null controls a Herod.

Null continues, he plays Mary, Holy Virgin, Good Seed, his single territory class enhancement for the turn and Finally, Null plays the Dominant Crowd’s Choice as good to search his deck for Resurrection Revealer.

He enters the battle phase, attacking with Resurrection Revealer and searches for The Resurrection, and plays The Resurrection before Andy’s block, playing Bethlehem Stable from his deck, which protects his hand, deck, and reserve from Andy, and banding to Mary, Holy Virgin, which negates and Reserves Andy’s Active Artifact, Covenant with David.

Andy Blocks from hand with Emperor Claudius, which is protected from Null’s New Testament heroes and Dominants and Null has initiative (“0”/9 – 10/11). Null plays The Coming Prince to negate Claudius and win by Numbers (15/11 – 10/11).

Andy has initiative, and plays Mask of Pride, interrupting the battle, drawing 3 (Hand 4), and Playing Stricken to negate The Coming Prince, as the Coming Prince is negated, Claudius is protected again.

Null is defeated by Numbers (“0”/11 – 21/12), discarding Resurrection Revealer, but Putting Mary in reserve due to Bethlehem Stable.

Null ends his turn with 4 cards in his hand, Andy having 3. [3:07 PM]

Turn 3

Both Player’s Hands, Decks, and Reserves are protected, Null’s Gospel Characters are protected from harm, Three Woes is Negating nothing, and Andy is restricted from accessing reserves.

Andy draws 3 cards, he gets lost soul Shepherds and draws to replace. Andy uses no * and uses the ability of Shepherds to Underdeck Emperor Nero from his hand and draw a new card.

During his Upkeep Phase, Andy switches Three Woes to negate Herodias, allowing him to access reserves, and searches his reserve for Shared Meal with Storehouse.

Prep Phase. Andy activates his artifact pile artifact, Denarius and searches his deck for Saul of Tarsus, then, because he controls an emperor (Emperor Claudius), he discards Denarius to Draw 3 cards, one of which is the Lost Soul Lost Souls, he draws to replace and uses Lost Souls to create a meek lost soul token in his own Land of Bondage.

Andy plays Jonah, which allows him to shuffle one of Null’s cards every time he searches, and Lost Child Found as his Territory Class enhancement for the turn, returning Herod’s Temple, Bethlehem Stable, and Good Seed to Null’s hand.

Andy enters his Battle Phase, attacking from his hand with The Angel of the Winds, and exchanging it with Mordecai from his deck. Null’s lost soul Defiled triggers twice, the total amount of brigades on the cards played is 2, so he draws 2 cards.

Null Blocks with Herod Agrippa I, and negates Storehouse. It’s Andy’s initiative (11/9 – 8/9). Andy plays Shared Meal, playing Banner of Love from his reserve, and banding to Hannah. Hannah Reveals Null’s hand, and Andy draws 1 card. Null does not search his reserve with Shared Meal.

Also, due to Mordecai, Shared Meal and Banner of Love cannot be negated, so Herod Agrippa I is discarded, and Null gets 2 more triggers of Defiled, since Shared meal has 1 brigade, and Banner of Love has 2, Null draws 3 cards. One of which is lost soul Lawless. Null uses Lawless on himself, taking Delivered and underdecking the rest. Null then awards Andy lawless for the rescue.

(Andy 2 – Null 0).

Null is confident that he has lost, he is down 2-0, his opponent has not played the big two, and he has lost 2 of his most valuable defenders, he has little heroes, little good enhancements, no Herods, no evil enhancements, his opponent’s hand, deck, reserve, AND discard pile are protected, if he searches, his cards are shuffled, his opponent has a card that is completely protected from all of his heroes, and can search his reserve for blocks like unsuccessful, he can’t fail a SINGLE block, and has to manually rescue 3 lost souls. In addition, during the discard phase, Andy plays Golgotha and searches for The Brood of Vipers, who can CBN Underdeck his cards whenever he attacks. It’s over.

This is where, possibly the most epic comeback in the history of Redemption, begins.(THIS IS SO CHEESY XD)

Andy ends his turn with 6 cards in his hand. [3:07 PM]

Turn 4.

Null draws 3 cards, including lost soul crowds and lost soul humble, which he draws 2 more cards to replace. He uses no * and copies lost soul defiled with lost soul imitate during the upkeep phase.

Prep Phase. Null Plays Herod’s Temple, Bethlehem Stable, Citizens of Sychar, The Deciever, Herod’s Executioner, The Angel of the Winds, Zaccheus, the Repentant, and a face-down artifact from his hand.

Null enters his battle phase, attacking with The Angel of the Winds and exchanging it for Zechariah, the Silent. Null has 7 cards in hand, and Andy has 6, so he cannot draw 2 off Zechariah, however, he can prevent the next evil enhancement that Andy plays.

It’s Andy’s Block, he blocks with The Entrapping Pharisees, and reveals Saul of Tarsus from his hand, since Null’s hand is protected by Bethlehem Stable, he cannot discard instead of being captured, so Andy blocks Null’s Rescue.

Null plays Son of God and The Second Coming, to search Son of God from his Discard pile and Play it again. Rescuing lost soul humble, and lost soul lost souls, hoping to get SOME differential. Andy activates Jonah’s ability, Shuffling Herod’s Temple.

(Andy 2 – Null 2)

Null plays Good Seed as his Territory Class enhancement and ends his turn with 4 cards in hand.

Turn 5

Both player’s hand, deck, and reserve, are protected. Andy’s discard pile is protected, If Null searches, Andy can shuffle one of his cards in territory, and Herodias is negated by Andy’s Three Woes.

Andy Draws 3 cards. He drew lost soul grumbled, so he draws to replace and with no *, uses grumbled to Underdeck Supercilious Scribes from his hand in order to draw a new card.

Andy keeps Three Woes on Herodias and uses Storehouse to search his reserve for Temple Dedication.

Prep Phase. Andy plays Sheol and Music Leader. He also plays Temple dedication from his hand to search his deck for Book of the Covenant, and banishes Temple Dedication to protect his musicians from evil cards. The situation is only getting more hopeless for Null. Andy plays Book of the Covenant on The Tabernacle, and uses it to search You Will Remain from reserve, and activates it on Book of the Covenant.

Andy enters his battle phase and attacks with Mordecai. Null points out one fatal flaw with Andy’s otherwise perfect scenario, Jonah is not a musician. Null blocks with the Deciever, Exchanging it to his deck for Herod the Great, who plays Herod’s Temple from deck and forces Jonah to be the attacker. He also reserves the top card of his deck with Herod’s Temple, reserving Herod Phillip II from the top of his deck to toss all enhancements. Andy activates Jonah’s ability twice, shuffling Herod’s Temple and Good Seed back into Null’s deck.

Jonah is then defeated by numbers (12/10 – 4/5). Null may have stopped a powerful attack and forced Andy to lose a powerful search counter, but Hail Hydra, one head is removed, two more grow back.

Andy plays Elimelech from his hand and ends his turn with 5 cards in hand.

Turn 6

Both player’s hand, deck, and reserve, are protected. Andy’s discard pile is protected, If Null searches, Andy can search his deck or discard pile for up to two good cards that involve music, and Underdeck a lost soul, and Herodias is negated by Andy’s Three Woes.

Null draws 3 cards, uses no * and searches his reserve for Mary, Holy Virgin with Bethlehem Stable during his upkeep phase.

Prep Phase. Null Plays Herod’s Temple from his hand, then, he plays Delivered as his Territory Class card for the turn, playing Overtaken from his deck. Null also plays Simon of Cyrene from his hand.

Null enters his battle phase and attacks with Mary, Holy Virgin, Reserving The Entrapping Pharisees from Andy’s territory, and since Mary has the word “Negated” in her ability, Overtaken makes all of Null’s Evil Characters CBN until his next Prep Phase.

Andy blocks from hand with Saul of Tarsus, drawing 2 cards, getting lost soul lawless, and drawing a new card to replace it. Lawless also triggers, playing lost soul Dull from the top 6 cards of Andy’s deck and underdecking the rest.

It’s Null’s Initiative (1/3 – 4/2), so he plays Plague of Boils, and as Andy’s deck is protected by Storehouse, he is FORCED to be unable to play any evil enhancements. Andy asks for dominant initiative, which Null is forced to accept. Andy plays Christian Martyr, but Null uses Bethlehem Stable to reserve Mary instead of Discarding her.

Null ends his turn with 3 cards in hand. [3:08 PM]

Turn 7

Both player’s hand, deck, and reserve, are protected. Null’s Gospel Characters are protected, Andy’s discard pile is protected, If Null searches, Andy can search his deck or discard pile for up to two good cards that involve music, and Underdeck a lost soul, and nothing is negated by Andy’s Three Woes. Andy is restricted from accessing reserves, Andy draws 3 cards, using no *.

Prep Phase. Andy plays The Brood of Vipers, and Twenty Shekels from his hand, bouncing David, Heart After God. Andy plays David back from his hand, and Attacks with Elimelech, Andy Draws 2 cards and banishes Elimelech to add David, Heart After God to battle, who Converts to Meek in order to Search Andy’s deck for Son of God.

Andy also uses the ability of The Tabernacle, discarding The Twenty-Four Elders in order to add Lost Child Found from his discard pile to his hand.

Null blocks with Herod’s Executioner, who is CBN due to Overtaken. He equips Herod’s Sword from reserve and Bands to Herod the Great, who is now protected from Andy entirely. Herod’s sword also activates, since Andy’s deck is protected by Storehouse, Herod’s sword is automatically discarding David, Heart After God.

It’s Andy’s Special Initiative. He plays Philosophy, Negating Herod’s Sword, but not Discarding anything from Null’s hand since it is protected twicefold. Then, it’s Andy’s Initiative. (22/20 – “0”/10). Andy Plays Lost Child Found, bouncing Herod’s Temple, Bethlehem Stable, and Overtaken. But it’s too late, David is dying by the numbers (22/20 – “0”/14) and Herod the Great is Still CBN protected.

David, Heart After God dies and Andy plays The Deceiver and Nicodemus, the Teacher from his hand before ending his turn with 5 cards in hand.

Turn 8.

Andy’s discard pile, hand, deck, and reserve is protected, If Null searches, Andy can search his deck or discard pile for up to two good cards that involve music, and Underdeck a lost soul, and nothing is negated by Andy’s Three Woes.

Null Draws 3 cards, and uses the * of Amazing Faith to play lost soul undesirables from his deck. He also uses lost soul imitate to copy the ability of lost soul undesirables during his upkeep phase.

Prep Phase. Null plays Herod’s Temple, Bethlehem Stable, and Overtaken from his hand.

Null enters his battle phase, attacking with Gabriel, Mouth of God, negating Sheol and banding to Zaccheus, the Repentant, who forces Emperor Claudius to Block, also, since Gabriel, Mouth of God has the word “Negated” in his ability, Overtaken makes all of Null’s evil Characters CBN until his next prep phase.

It’s Null’s initiative (“0”/18 – 10/11), and he plays Amazing Faith. Negating Claudius, all other evil cards in battle, and searching his deck for Angel of the Lord. Andy has 2 triggers, lost soul dull allows him to search his deck for Emperor Nero, and Music Leader allows him to search his Discard Pile for Banner of Love and David, Heart After God. Null plays Angel of the Lord, discarding the currently negated Emperor Claudius.

Andy rewards Null with the captured Amalekites’ Slave as a rescue.

(Andy 2 – Null 3)

Null ends his turn with 4 cards in hand. [3:08 PM]

Turn 9

Both player’s hand, deck, and reserve, are protected. Null’s Gospel Characters are protected, Andy’s discard pile is protected, If Null searches, Andy can search his deck or discard pile for up to two good cards that involve music, and Underdeck a lost soul, and nothing is negated by Andy’s Three Woes. Andy is restricted from accessing reserves.

Andy draws 3 cards. He uses no * and plays Son of God and The Second Coming in order to search Son of God from discard pile and Rescue lost soul imitate and lost soul undesirables.

(Andy 4 – Null 3).

Andy uses Three Woes during the upkeep phase to negate Herod’s Sword.

Prep Phase. Andy Plays David, Heart After God, and Emperor Nero from his hand. He also plays David’s Harp on David, and searches his deck, but fails to find anything.

Andy enters his Battle Phase, and attacks with Mordecai. Null blocks with Herodias.

It’s Null’s initiative (3/4 – 8/9). He plays Revolt. Banding to Herod’s Executioner, The Deceiver, The Brood of Vipers, and Nicodemus the Teacher. Then, The Deceiver exchanges to Herod Phillip II from Null’s Reserve, which allows him to draw 2 and band to Herod the Great, who forces Music Leader to attack. Then, The Brood of Vipers underdecks The Tabernacle, and following it, Book of the Covenant and You Will Remain.

Now, all characters in battle are being Set Aside until Null’s Next attack.

It’s Andy’s Special Initiative, and he plays Banner of Love, banding to Hannah and Discarding Herod’s Executioner so that Null can’t protect Herod the Great anymore. Null draws 2 cards off of lost soul Defiled’s ability. Andy ends his turn with 5 cards in hand.

Turn 10

Both player’s hand, deck, and reserve, are protected. Null’s Gospel Characters are protected, Andy’s discard pile is protected, If Null searches, Andy can search his deck or discard pile for up to two good cards that involve music, and Underdeck a lost soul, and nothing is negated by Andy’s Three Woes. Andy is restricted from accessing reserves.

Null draws 3 cards, and at this point, the timer has reached 0. Both players agree that since Andy went first, both players will get one more turn after this one. Null drew lost soul dull, and lost soul escape. And draws 2 cards to replace them.

Null uses the * of Virgin Birth, taking Good Seed and Underdecking Virgin Birth. Null searches his reserve for Mary, Holy Virgin with Bethlehem Stable during the upkeep phase, and plays Three Woes, negating Andy’s Storehouse. Andy Underdecks lost soul grumbled with Sheol as Null searched.

Prep Phase. Null plays Sychar as a fortress, and Activates Samaritan Water Jar on it from his face-down artifact pile, reserving the top 3 cards of Andy’s deck, The Angel of the Winds, Faith Unbowed, and putting lost soul crowds in play.

Null also plays The Good Samaritan, The Thankful Leper, Bartimaeus, Mary, Holy Virgin, and Good Seed from his hand.

Null plays Falling Away and Converts Mordecai to an Orange Brigade Evil Character.

Null enters his Battle Phase, returning all the characters that were set aside by revolt, and attacks with Gabriel, Mouth of God, negating Sheol and banding to Zaccheus, the Repentant, who forces Mordecai to Block, also, since Gabriel, Mouth of God has the word “Negated” in his ability, Overtaken makes all of Null’s evil Characters CBN until his next prep phase. Andy has no way to respond.

Mordecai dies by numbers (10/18 – 8/9), and Andy awards Null lost soul shepherds to rescue. (Andy 4 – Null 4).

Null ends his turn with 3 cards in hand.

Turn 11 (Final Round)

Null’s hand, deck, and reserve, are protected. Null’s Gospel Characters are protected, If Null searches, Andy can search his deck or discard pile for up to two good cards that involve music, and Underdeck a lost soul, nothing is negated by Andy’s Three Woes, Storehouse is negated by Null’s Three Woes. Andy is restricted from accessing reserves.

Andy draws 3 and uses the * of Virgin Birth, taking Book of the Covenant and underdecking Virgin Birth.

Prep Phase. Andy plays The Tabernacle, and Book of the Covenant on it, he also uses David’s Harp to search his deck for You Will Remain and activates it on Book of the Covenant. Then, Andy plays Love Righteousness to search his discard pile for Mordecai.

Andy moves into his battle phase and attacks with Mordecai, without Herod’s Executioner, Null cannot protect his Herods, however, he has one last Trick up his sleeve. Null blocks with Herod the Great, Forcing Hannah to Attack, and randomly discarding Heavy Taxes from Andy’s Reserve. Then, Null reserves The Woman at the Well from the top of his deck with Herod’s Temple, tossing all enhancements.

It’s Andy’s initiative (12/10 – 1/1) and all enhancements are being tossed. Unless Andy can decrease Herod the Great 9/9, his rescue fails. As his musician is blocked, David’s Harp lets him draw 1. But it’s not enough, Hannah dies by numbers, and Null gets the Block.

Andy ends his turn with 6 cards in hand.

Turn 12 (Final Turn)

Null’s hand, deck, and reserve, are protected. Null’s Gospel Characters are protected, If Null searches, Andy can search his deck or discard pile for up to two good cards that involve music, and Underdeck a lost soul, nothing is negated by Andy’s Three Woes, Storehouse is negated by Null’s Three Woes. Andy is restricted from accessing reserves.

Null Draws 3 cards and uses the * of The Outcasts, playing it from his hand. He also uses Good Seed to Search his reserve for Teaching in Parables, and Bethlehem Stable to Search his reserve for The Heavenly Host.

Prep Phase. Null plays Chamber of Angels, and the Heavenly Host. Chamberhosting, he creates 4 tokens, and places 1 in Chamber. Null plays Teaching in Parables, Negating Twenty Shekels, and Revealing Andy’s Hand, Supercilious Scribes, Mayhem Crowd’s Choice, and Tenants Kill the Son. As Andy cannot search his reserve, and only has 1 card left in his deck, unless the last card in his deck is an Evil Enhancement, he has no cards to play. Null reserves Tenants Kill the Son.

Null enters his battle phase, attacking with Gabriel, Mouth of God, negating Sheol and banding to Zaccheus, the Repentant, who forces Emperor Nero to Block, also, since Gabriel, Mouth of God has the word “Negated” in his ability, Overtaken makes all of Null’s evil Characters CBN until his next prep phase.

It’s Andy’s Initiative, (10/18 – 10/7), Nero is Not Protected, as Null is using more than one Hero. Andy plays Crowd’s Choice as Evil, Searching his singular card deck, finding that it is not an evil enhancement.

Nero dies by numbers, and Andy awards Null the fifth soul.

(Andy 4 – Null 5) Winner: hi_im_null.”
