The Areopagus was a place where the ancient Greeks used to gather and discuss different ideas and its the site where Paul delivered his famous sermon recounted in Acts 17! It represents a place where people with different perspectives and ideas can come to engage in thoughtful dialogue and present their ideas.
This new series of articles (The Areopagus) is intended to be a place where different people can voice their thoughts and opinions about the game of Redemption in a respectful, formal way. Too often, civil online discussion quickly devolve into spirited debates, full of sweeping generalizations and personalized jabs and hurt feelings. By providing a semi-structured platform and inviting different players to voice their ideas thoughtfully, I’m hoping to create interesting dialogue in the Redemption community and a place for people to feel heard.
