Join John Early and I as we play out game 2 between our play test decks shortly before Cloud of Witnesses went to print. Does the Haman’s Plot get ripped this game? Watch and see!
If you missed game one, which included a brief deck explanation, be sure to check that out too! John is using the “white cloud” deck he spoke about in his preview articles in action. I’m using a powerful gold/red offense I was testing. Enjoy!

Great video! So I’m curious, does Gomer banding to the serpent mean that the serpent is male?
Gabe
Yes, The Serpent is male. In Genesis 3:1 it says “He said to the woman”. The ruling has been around longer than I have, but I believe that’s the reason why.
Josh
Just wanted to note that Sword of the Spirit should have followed David when he was underdecked by Scattered.
Gabe
What you suggest is a common misconception. During battle weapons are treated like any other Enhancement. They are only place/held outside of battle. That’s consistent with the current REG entry for weapons and goes all the way back to the insert from Kings where weapons were introduced.
Drew
So does that mean, that Sword of the Spirit would then go to discard pile at end of battle?
Scott
It would, unless you had another warrior-class hero that was in and survived battle which could wield it.
