As I mentioned in that article, the version of the card presented was an early play test version. While we weren’t completely settled on the card ability, we knew the general concept we wanted. We were excited for the chance to share with you, the readers, one of the cards from the upcoming release.
Since that article, a few things have changed. First, as many of you have realized, we quickly found multiple ways to break the card through the underdeck mechanic. As a result, we changed that to shuffle.
We also decided that we like symmetry across all the card types that Created by Christ puts into play. Instead of the possibility of getting several Lost Souls, or none, you now get exactly one, to match the Hero and Evil Character.
We’re pretty happy with where this, and most of the cards in the set, are at now. But there’s still a chance that something could change over the next couple weeks before it goes to print.
