Summary:

CtheTree is the one that inspired this deck. CtheTree is probably the one I enjoy talking Redemption with the most and conversing about strategy. Something he has been emphasizing the most is individual character power. Unfortunately a straight Ruth offense does not have that power, but most do. Ruth makes Ruth enhancements CBN, David grabs basically the whole deck (I will explain further on that a bit later), and Amminidab can do multiple things with the help of the rest of the offense or alone. Brown defense has been a favorite of mine for a long time and enjoy new ways to make it work!

Offense:

David, Heart after God- David can legit grab any offensive card he needs to change the battle outcome. From AoTL to Royal Parade he grabs it all. Every deck should have a hero like this. Whether it be Matthew, Justin Martyr, or whoever you should include one of them in there. Heroes that are thematic to your deck or just in general make the deck tick in general. These guys are the heart of every deck. David in my opinion is the best hero in the game as he has so much support, fits in almost any deck, and is so much fun to play.

Ruth- Ruth is a hero that makes Ruth enhancements CBN and I believe these are important as well. They apply pressure to the opponent that makes them try to finagle something they may not have and stress them beyond their limits. I have a few cards that work Ruth into being an amazing hero. Shared Meal is one of those enhancements that is just simply amazing and fun to play. It is a sneaky play. She makes whatever Ruth enhancement you play from the reserve CBN as you can see I put in a couple battle winning Ruth cards to spice it up a bit.

Amminidab- As a couple of you know I had been running an Infinnidab deck I have now done away with due to some new things in the meta I have found. But more than an strong rescue option when banded in, he is a good way to get rid of pesky EC in a territory. Additionally he is a Lost Soul generator if you have nothing else, and no other ways to do what you want.

Good Enhancements- The Good Enhancement package is meant to overpower the opponent. The three battle winners as well as Boaz’ Offspring are searchable by David, and two are an interrupt with one being a negate to overpower the opponent.

Defense:

This defense is a lot of Chump blocks in brown put together. Haman grabs two of the battle winners: Haman’s Plot, and Honor thy Enemy which is really strong! Profane Daughters is still really really good. If her block is successful she stops future cards the next turn like the Resurrection, Crowds Choice, and Star of Bethlehem! Brown is solid having a fair number of chump block options. I am going to spread Brown defense awareness because I think it can be really effective and tactical, especially with Haman’s Plot it is fun later in the game to snipe characters in the opponent’s territory.

Conclusion:

Why do I think that most decks should be built like this? Well most decks should have a lot of these components like a David (search hero), Ruth (CBN modifying capabilities, even if the cards themselves are CBN like Authority of Christ), and Lost Soul generation. Auto blocks should also be included. These are the bare minimum in a deck. So in that case I don’t think this deck is the best but the fundamental elements of this deck should be in most decks. The meta has slowed down a little bit (if you want a faster deck you usually have to be a specific deck) so a lot of these components can be included and are super strong and super fun!

I appreciate you reading and looking this over. I will try to be more involved and create new decks to play with for you all to consider. I try not to make decks that people copy. I try to make decks that people can be inspired by to make their own that are useful and successful in the current Redemption meta. The decks I build may not be top tier but are still super fun!
