LaFS is Back, No Joke

This week on Redemption with Jayden we're bringing back a crowd favorite (not) with the Love at First Sight combo. "But Love at First Sight got an errata," you might be thinking. This is true, but Roots 2 single-handedly brought the combo back with just a bit of a twist. Now your opponent gets to keep one card... and so do you, but you can also do it every turn so... Seems pretty good? This deck went through several iterations and A LOT of goldfishing, but I landed on what I think is the best "all-in" version of this combo that tries to get it on turn 1 as consistently as possible with every trick in the book. Future iterations of the deck might be better served using this combo as a "finisher" Reserve package to grab with Concealed Riches, or maybe something will change and the combo will be no more... But until then, we gotta push the limits of it. While I don't love playing combo decks against Jay "floodedRED" Chambers since they often seem to not work against him, he was my opponent for the last round of Swiss for RGP #2, so it was all or nothing. Jay decided to play a bit of an off-the-wall build himself with Daniel/Mill, showing that Mill is quickly becoming a legitimate strategy. Let's hope he doesn't mill any combo pieces because this deck doesn't really come with a backup plan... Enjoy!
