Hello Redemption! Welcome back to another (hopefully) exciting episode of CactusKnee’s Card
Garden: Where Redemption Cards Bloom in Unexpected Ways.
This is episode 4 of the podcast. Mini-podcast, I should say. This show is meant to be bite-
sized. We all love a good 3-hour Threshing Floor episode. In fact, that’s the only way I can
stand mowing my entire lawn in one shot, is by enjoying that show. But here at Cactus Knee’s
Card Garden, it’s all about short and sweet. Maybe you only have a couple of minutes between
This and That. Perfect! I aim to keep these episodes between 3-5 minutes.
All that said, we are on episode 4, and introducing our fourth episode category: Mirrors. This
category features at minimum 2 cards that mirror one another in some way. It may not be an
exact good version/bad version of the same ability, but more of a reflecting of each other.
Today’s cards are a good and evil version of the same ability, with slight variations. Without
further ado, I give you [drumroll] The Angel of the Winds and The Deceiver [applause]. Unlike
the cards featured in the last few episodes, you have probably used at least one, if not both, of
these cards in your deck. And if not, you’ve almost certainly seen them being used.
Let’s read their abilities, then discuss. The Angel of the Winds reads, “You may exchange this
Hero with a human Hero in deck. If that Hero is a cloud Hero, negate Evil Characters.” And the
Deceiver reads, “You may exchange this card with a human Evil Character from deck or Reserve.
Cannot be prevented.”
Both of these cards are great for tutoring a Human character that you may need by exchanging
places with said character in the deck (or also the Reserve in the case of The Deceiver).
Thematically, this is also interesting to me: an angel helping out the Hero, or a demon helping
out an Evil Character. That, you may say, MIRRORS real life.
If your deck is strong when your heavy hitters come out early, you’ll definitely want to consider
these cards when deck building.
Negating Evil Characters when pulling a cloud Hero with The Angel of the Winds isn’t too
shabby either. Especially if you are going for David, Heart After God, to get K deck Son of God.
The Angel of the Winds and The Deceiver are great to add to any deck that has room, so you
can tutor your desired characters. And they work with any brigade, without disrupting your
unity, as they are exchanged. So, if you haven’t already, give them a shot!
Now that we’ve covered all 4 categories in these first 4 episodes, you’ll know what you can
expect from future episodes. I’m not guaranteeing they will always present 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4.

In fact, I can almost guarantee they will NOT come in any sort of order. We’ll mix it up! It’ll be
a surprise every time.
Anyway, I hope you’ve been enjoying the episodes so far. Is it at this point that I tell you to
SMASH that Subscribe button? Like the video, leave a comment. I think there’s something
about a bell. Whatever it is you’ve got to do, go ahead and do that. Until next time.
