No, it's not a typo... I'm actually playing blue. And then on defense I'm trying out a new interaction made possible by the change in Redemption's definition of a "lion", which now includes non-animals that are represented as lions, such as the new, symbolic Roaring Lion promo and The Winged Lion, a demon from Prophecies of Christ. Given The Winged Lion's ability to band to a Babylonian, we have a reason to combine Lions with Babs and I'm all for it. With all the lions going around, it just made sense to try it out with blue and its new-ish First Animals promo that I haven't seen much use of yet. This deck was fun to build and definitely fun to play, which I did for Round 2 of Lackey Grand Prix #27 against Josh "Kevinthedude" Potratz. Josh brought mono-Green Prophets with a Herods splash defense that combines some of the strongest blocking elements in the game at a very efficient rate. Enjoy the game!
