We’re now entering the Top Cut rounds of Lackey Grand Prix #18 and I made it in this time, so the semifinal games will be Schaeph (1) vs CtheTree (4) and the game in this week’s video between floodedRED (2) and yours truly (3). For this game I decided to explore the implications of a recently stumbled-upon interaction between Abishai equipping Snatched Spear and getting to choose the blocker before banding more Heroes into battle.

The interaction itself is quite strong, but it requires a good bit of setup and maintenance to keep it rolling. Jay “floodedRED” Chambers brought a super quick Patriarch/Moabite chump list he’s been working on and it was cool to see how fast he can establish a lot of pressure even after some big setbacks.
