Lackey Grand Prix #20 Top Cut is here! If you missed my Round 4 game, you can check it out here on BaboonyTim’s channel. While originally the plan was to have 5 rounds of Swiss, it was determined that with the drops going into the last couple rounds that Top Cut was all but determined and we might as well get to it, so it ended up with floodedRED, myself, AgurTheWise, and CtheTree in the Top Cut seedings, putting me against Jake for this week.

Following some mixed feelings about the deck after KY State, I decided to stick with my guns and continue to refine and play Banishing Act for this LGP. After recognizing a few of the struggles the deck has against Joshua offenses, I decided to again bring it back to 57 in hopes that the defense would be enough to hold them off, which I was certainly going to need against Jake’s “Take Take” Joshua/Thieves list that he’s been working on.
