Lackey Grand Prix 18 is upon us and Round 1 is now complete! To start off this tournament I get to play against Mitch “mitchrobstew” Stewart, which is always a pleasure and even moreso when we get some fun new cards to play with. One of the worst fears of the Canaanite defense is playing the mirror match and that’s what happened in this game.

And while Mitch combined his with a sturdy value-centric Prophets offense, I brought a Joshua offense with a few extra tricks up my sleeve. In particular, I wanted to find out if The Five Kings made for a good addition to the Joshua *offense* and I have to say, I was fairly impressed with how easy it was to set up in a modified Joshua shell. I always enjoy finding strong Evil Character abilities that convert and this one was no exception, so buckle up and let’s do some Canaanite math!
