NC Regionals 1st Place: Gilbaugh’s Disciples / Herods
“This deck is a blast to play! I played a similar list at WI states a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted to test out some changes at regionals before posting a list.
I only used Three Nails once to good success, and it was in my prep phase. I wanted to cut Pagan Sailors before the tournament, but because I added Three Nails, I wanted to run it back. It probably doesn’t make the cut.
The Pagan Sailors and Stocks package might bite the dust, but I want more games to test them out. Pagan Sailors just feels bad in a Matthew, the Publican world. I played Nazareth in four of my games I think, but I would have played it in my fifth if it didn’t get hit of a Delivered star ability. I probably shouldn’t have played it in one of those games, but in the other games it felt pretty strong.”
