A question, what will be the food situation at the church?
Gabe
Food and snacks will be available for purchase at a reasonable cost. Details are still being worked out. We’ll share them as things are finalized.
Jay Chambers
Why only a top 4 cut? If attendance breaks 60, a top 8 cut is more ideal.
Gabe
Rob and the elders discussed a few options to address concerns with the top cut system used for T1-2P the past few years. Using a “best of 3” system doesn’t leave time for a top 8 so we chose to go to top 4. Our second choice was to eliminate top cut all together and only play swiss rounds like we do for every other category.
Jay Chambers
I honestly wouldn’t have a problem returning to the old system but I’ll still play regardless!
Gabe
If players would prefer to do straight Swiss rounds I’m open to changing the schedule.
Benjamin Campbell
I miss the old system, it allows more people to play more games. I think it provides a more enjoyable experience.
RedWing
I’m assuming RoJ packs will be used for booster?
Gabe
Three Lions Games is sponsoring our closed deck events this year! Travis has offered to use 5 box packs plus a Kings and Priests booster. I’m certain that one of those box packs will be the newest set.
