Christmas Card Swap!

Join in on this festive celebration of Christmas with the Redemption community!

This Christmas season, our community will be doing the Card Swap for the third year. Man, time flies! In the past, this has been a great experience for those that have participated, and we hope this year’s version will bring great joy to all participants. The fun of this always grows with the number of participants, so encourage your friends and playgroups to sign up as well.

Rules are posted below:

1) Each participant will select a minimum of 3 cards that are Rotation legal.

2) The 3 minimum cards that you select must contain at least 1 Rare or Promo and the others can be

commons or any other rarity you choose.

3) If you wish to send more than 3 cards, that is fine and encouraged, just make sure at least 1 is

rare or promo.

4) I will handle signups and gather addresses and names. After the signup period closes, we will

provide each participant with a name and address of another participant to mail your cards to.

5) The person you send your cards to will not necessarily be who is sending cards to you.

6) The only cost for this is the cards you choose and the shipping costs for you to mail your cards.

7) Ensure cards are either in a top loader or are packaged in a way that they will not get creased

and/or otherwise damaged in shipping. Please avoid plain cards thrown into an envelope.

8) Signups will be open from the time of posting until December 15th.

9) All cards should be packaged and placed into the mail service by December 19th. It is important

to do this in order to make sure cards are received before Christmas.

10) To sign up, simply send a DM with your name and address to me on discord @jhendrix6426

or you can email me directly at jhendrix6426@gmail.com.

11) It is highly encouraged that all participants ship their cards using a shipping service that will provide a tracking number.

I have had several people reach out to me in the past and ask for an update on where their cards are coming from or why they may not have received them yet. All these issues are easily resolved if I can provide a tracking number to each recipient that they can use to monitor their incoming cards with. If you do use a service that provides a tracking number and you are willing, I would ask that you provide that to me so I can pass it along.

Feel free to get creative and include a Christmas card and/or other items as a Christmas gift to your fellow players. Perhaps a new pack of card sleeves or deck box. Write out a few encouraging words or a written prayer for the person you are sending cards to. It is the Christmas season after all, so share some joy with your Redemption family! And again, if you have an abundance of cards and want to share more, feel free to go above the 3-card minimum to bless someone. We chose to keep it low to make it easier for players with limited card collections to still be able to participate, but you have free reign to do more if you wish to.
